We are very proud to announce that our designer, Jenni Bunny, received her Designer Development Programme certificate at the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA) AGM.

The new qualification has been developed by the TRA to help encourage young people into timber engineering and to allow those already in the industry to have a structed learning system in place.

The qualification has been two years in development with Richard George from MiTek, our software partner, leading the way.

Jenni said: “It is great to have a specific qualification which is so relevant to the truss rafter industry. I was thrilled to represent ETS in front of our partners and peers. I’d really encourage young people to consider timber engineering as a career. It is so rewarding and I get to work with some great people.”
