The orangery construction would be of brick, and the support over the large bi-fold doors would be steel.

Meaning that you can rest assured that the design is safe and secure.
Once final dimensions were taken and confirmation of the lantern size and weight, the metal web joists went out to production.

These heavy glass units often need craning into place, thus often vital that the roof is ready when they arrive.
