Who are we?
ETS was founded in 2002 by Henry Carver and Phil Sankey. Henry, a builder’s merchant owner, and Phil, an engineer, both saw local market opportunity for a competitive truss manufacturer providing a strong dedicated customer service in its design team, and able keep to shorter lead times over the busier building summer period.

Roof Trusses
Our timber roof trusses are designed to your exact requirements providing a cost-efficient and time-saving solution as they can be slotted straight into place. Trusses can be used on small to large builds offering versatility for any type of project, domestic or commercial.
Floor Joists
Our floor joists are also known as open web joists or metal web joists due to how they are constructed. Designed using the Posi-Joist system our floor joists offer greater flexibility than traditional timber components. Posi-Joists combine the lightness of timber with the strength of the Posi-Strut steel web this allows you to span greater distances than possible with timber floor joist products.
Panels
Spandrel panels are specially designed and manufactured from timber-framed panels clad with plasterboards. They allow you to separate roof areas between adjoining houses. These panels achieve a guaranteed 1hr fire protection barrier.
